UPAYA AMAN SUMBAWA DALAM PENINGKATAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT HUKUM ADAT DI SUMBAWA MELALUI BUMMA

Abstract

AMAN Sumbawa is a branch organization of the AMAN Executive Board which was founded in 2009 by organizing members of 25 indigenous communities in two districts, namely Sumbawa and West Sumbawa Regencies which have a vision of how indigenous communities can be politically sovereign, economically independent and culturally dignified. This research uses a research approach. The research method used in this research is empirical legal research.  Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation which are used concretely related to research.  The data obtained in this research was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis and findings in the field.  The results of the research are that the existence of AMAN Sumbawa plays a very important role in forming an Indigenous Community-Owned Business Entity (BUMMA). This is a form of effort so that AMAN member indigenous communities in the AMAN Sumbawa working area can carry out independent indigenous businesses that are not dependent on other parties. The steps taken to encourage BUMMA for indigenous communities are first; socializing to indigenous communities to ask for agreement, secondly a workshop to select BUMMA management from either men or women, thirdly local training on superior product development, fourthly workshop on marketing strategies and profit sharing in each indigenous community. And the locations of indigenous communities that have been established by BUMMA by AMAN Sumbawa are in 11 (eleven) BUMMA locations. First; Cek Bocek Selesek Reen Sury traditional community, Lawin Village, Ropang sub-district, Sumbawa district, second; Usal Ponto Ai Padeng indigenous people, Mama village, Lopok sub-district, Sumbawa district, third; Pusu traditional community, Tepal village, Batulanteh sub-district, Sumbawa district, fourth; the Bakalewang Kanar indigenous community, Labuhan Badas village, Labuhan Sumbawa subdistrict, Sumbawa district, fifth; Payung Jolo traditional community, Lape village, Lape sub-district, Sumbawa district, sixth;  the Rebu Payung traditional community, Sepayung village, Plampang subdistrict, Sumbawa district, seventh; Pekasa traditional community, Jamu village, Lunyuk sub-district, Sumbawa regency, eighth; Riu traditional community, Tepal village community, Batulanteh sub-district, Sumbawa district, Sembilan; the Ponan traditional community, Poto village, Moyo Hilir sub-district, Sumbawa district, tenth: the Talonang Hamlet traditional community, Talonang Baru village, Sekongkang sub-district, West Sumbawa regency and eleventh: the Koweng Tatar traditional community, Maluk village, Maluk sub-district, West Sumbawa regency.
