PENERAPAN NILAI-NILAI TOLERANSI KAMPUNG PANCASILA DESA PENGARINGAN KECAMATAN PEJAGOAN KABUPATEN KEBUMEN

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of tolerance values in the leadership rotation of Pengaringan Village, where the position of village head alternates between Christian and Muslim community members based on an unwritten agreement among community, religious, and village government leaders. The research uses a qualitative case study approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show: (1) Tolerance in the village head rotation is driven by aspects of acceptance, cooperation, and freedom, fostering a harmonious and respectful community life; (2) The values implemented include equality, humanity, brotherhood, and justice; (3) Consensus-based political communication supports the interfaith leadership rotation agreement, resulting in inclusive and sustainable decision-making.
