Analisis Financial Distress pada Perusahaan Manufaktur yang Terdaftar di Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (Jii70) Periode 2018-2021

Abstract

This study aims to determine the condition of financial health through the financial distress ratio of manufacturing companies listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index 70 (JII70). This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a data sampling technique using purposive sampling. The number of samples in this study is 12 manufacturing companies that are consistently listed on JII70 from 2018-2021. The calculation of financial distress uses the Altman Z-Score model.

Based on the results of the study, during the 2018-2021 period, there were 4 companies in the gray area, namely the ANTM company in 2018. KAEF Company in 2018. INDF companies in 2018, 2020 and 2021. Then the UNVR company which was in a gray area position for three consecutive years, namely in 2019, 2020 and 2021. The only companies in distress areas are KAEF companies. On average, during the 2018-2021 period, there was one company that was in the distress area classification, namely the KAEF company with a score of 1.090 which was below the score of 1.81 in the Altman Z-Score Modification classification, included in the distress area.
