This study examines the causes, health impacts, and the application of the sakinah mawadah warahmah concept in early marriages in Karangbolong Village, Buayan District, Kebumen Regency. Using a qualitative method, data were collected through interviews and analyzed descriptively. The findings reveal that early marriages are influenced by factors such as premarital pregnancy, low education levels, parental influence, and individual decisions. In the Karangbolong community, the concept of sakinah mawadah warahmah is achieved through good communication and mutual understanding between partners. However, applying this concept faces challenges among the younger generation due to the influence of social media and modern lifestyles. Early marriage has significant negative impacts, including serious health risks such as premature births, malnutrition in infants, and severe diseases for mothers. This study highlights the importance of education and preventive efforts to reduce early marriages and their adverse effects.
