This study analyzes the implementation of Internal Quality Audit (AMI) at the Nahdlatul Ulama Islamic Institute (IAINU) Kebumen in 2025 using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle perspective. AMI is a vital instrument in the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) of higher education institutions to ensure achievement of national higher education standards. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with documentation analysis techniques on the 2025 IAINU Kebumen AMI report covering 10 study programs, 3 institutions, and 7 work units. The results show that AMI implementation has followed the PDCA cycle systematically, where the Plan stage includes establishing instruments based on IAPS 4.0; the Do stage covers audit implementation for 20 auditees; the Check stage produces positive findings and non-conformity findings (major/minor); and the Act stage comprises continuous improvement recommendations. AMI achievements show 3 study programs in the Excellent category (NA≥361), 6 programs in Very Good (301≤NA<361), and 1 program in Good (200≤NA<301) with an average of 349.82. Critical findings include weaknesses in documentation systems, incomplete work unit SOPs, and sub-optimal reputable faculty publications. This research provides theoretical contributions in developing PDCA-based SPMI models in higher education and practical contributions as a reference for continuous quality improvement.
