ABSTRACT

Securities Crowdfunding is a financing instrument through long-term fund raising carried out through digital crowdfunding platforms in the capital market. One of the obstacles behind this research is the phenomenon that micro, small and medium enterprises often experience difficulties in financing and financing institutions experience difficulties in distributing credit. Therefore, securities crowdfunding is a potential solution in supporting the development of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature study to collect data from various related literature sources. The research results show that securities crowdfunding is a new hope and solution for MSME players in fulfilling their financing, the application procedure is easy, and access can be done via digital platforms, and it has the legal umbrella of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) which is regulated in POJK Number 57/POJK .04/2020 concerning Securities Offerings through Information Technology-Based Crowdfunding Services (securities crowdfunding)
