- Batik Arts Extracurricular Management to Develop Self-Potential and Preserve Indonesia's Intangible Cultural Heritage

AbstractThe research objectives were (1) Knowing the extracurricular management strategy of batik art to develop the potential of students. (2) Knowing the extracurricular management strategy of batik art to preserve Indonesia's intangible cultural heritage in students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative using data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis process was carried out by checking the data list, justifying the feasibility of the data and verifying the data (drawing conclusions). The validity of the data was carried out through the method of member checking, triangulation, participation extension, observation persistence and negative case studies. The results of this study are (1) a well-managed and systematic extracurricular management strategy can develop the potential of students. (2) A well-managed and systematic extracurricular management strategy of batik can contribute to the preservation of Indonesia's Intangible Cultural Heritage.
