This research aims to improve learning discipline in Islamic Religious Education learning for grade VIII MTs Sarbini Alian students using reward and punishment learning methods. In the research, class actions are carried out in four stages, namely the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects in this study are students of class VIII MTs Sarbini Alian with a total of 23 students and the object in this study is student activities in the form of learning discipline. The average pre-action score was 6.5. The data collection technique uses observation and questionnaires. The instruments used are observation sheets of student and teacher activities and questionnaire sheets. This research method uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that the use of reward and punishment learning methods could improve learning discipline in grade VII students of MTs Sarbini Alian.
