The purpose of this study is to determine the implementation of the snowball throwing learning model with crossword puzzle media to increase students' interest in learning in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Ethics class XI IIS 1 at SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo. This type of research is classroom action research research. The subject of this research is a student of grade XI IIS 1 SMA Negeri 5 Purworejo. The object of this research is the student's interest in learning. To find out the results of this study, the researcher used observation, interview, and questionnaire techniques.
The results of this study can be concluded that (1) the snowball throwing learning model with crossword puzzle media in the subject of Islamic Religious Education and Ethics is very relevant applied to the date aspect, (2) the snowball throwing learning model with crossword puzzle media can increase students' interest in learning, (3) the snowball throwing learning model with crossword puzzle media has advantages and disadvantages
