Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is a subject aimed at shaping students who are faithful, have noble character, and are able to practice Islamic values in daily life. To achieve these goals, it is necessary to apply appropriate learning approaches that match the characteristics of the students. Learning approaches in PAI include various models such as textual, contextual, scientific, humanistic, and inquiry approaches, each of which has its strengths and weaknesses. Through a varied approach, teachers can develop students' cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains in a balanced manner. Therefore, the implementation of effective learning approaches in PAI will encourage meaningful, enjoyable, and relevant learning experiences that meet the needs of the times.
