Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the scope of the systems approach in educational management, both in the context of Islamic education and general education in the modern era. The systems approach offers a comprehensive perspective that emphasizes the interactions and relationships between elements within an educational system, including curriculum, instruction, evaluation, resources, and leadership. In this study, a literature review or library research method was used to examine literature related to the application of the systems approach in education, which aims to understand the main characteristics, benefits, and challenges faced in its implementation. The results of the analysis show that the systems approach can improve the effectiveness of educational management through better integration between various components of education. In Islamic education, this approach further strengthens the application of spiritual values in educational management, while in general education, the systems approach plays an important role in supporting innovation and adaptation to social and technological changes. This study recommends that educational institutions adopt the systems approach by considering local and contextual aspects in order to achieve effective and relevant educational management in the modern era
