This study examines the role of religious programs at Majelis Taklim in enhancing the religious knowledge of its congregation as a respon to a desire to deepen their understanding of Islam but faces difficulties in finding suitable learning centers. This research employs a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The findings reveal that programs such as scripture studies and tahsin classes significantly improve the religious comprehension of the participants. However, there are challenges in implementation, particularly concerning material variety and limited teaching resources. Majelis Taklim addresses these challenges by adjusting the curriculum to meet the needs of the congregation and enhancing the quality of instruction through intensive training. Additionally, this institution also contributes to social welfare by organizing joint savings programs and recreational activities to strengthen community bonds. The conclusion of this study is that majelis taklim can serve as an effective medium for religious education, but it requires content adaptation and adequate support to achieve optimal outcomes
