STUDI DESKRIPTIF DI DESA TANJUNG PEGANTENAN PAMEKASAN

Abstract

Abstract. Education is one of the foundations for the progress of a nation, education is one of the means to increase human intelligence. not only that, but also education also has an important role as a basis in shaping the quality of each person and the ability to think and absorb various knowledge to increase human productivity and later education will determine and guide one's future, where one's talents will be directed through education. Therefore every parent must fully support the education of the child, and also the level of awareness of the parents also affects the success of the child's education, why is that? Because from childhood, children are raised naturally in a family and since then children are influenced by their closest environment, namely family or parents. If the level of awareness of parents and family is getting lower then the level of awareness of children to get an education is also low and will result in a higher rate of dropouts. In the Tanjung Pegantenan, Pamekasan, many children drop out of school due to many factors that influence it, both internal and external factors. These factors are suspected to be a big cause of the parents' paradigm of the importance of education, so many think education is only a quest with no end goal.

Abstrak. Pendidikan  merupakan salah satu pondasi untuk kemajuan suatu bangsa, Pendidikan termasuk salah satu sarana untuk meningkatkan kecerdasan manusia. tidak hanya itu pendidikan juga mempunyai peranan penting sebagai dasar dalam membentuk kualitas setiap orang serta kemampuan dalam berfikir dan menyerap berbagai pengetahuan sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas manusia dan nantinya Pendidikan yang akan menentukan dan menuntun masa depan seseorang,  dimana bakat seseorang akan terarah melalui Pendidikan.  Apabila tingkat kesadaran dari orang tua dan juga keluarga semakin rendah maka tingkat kesadaran anak untuk mengenyam pendidikan juga rendah dan akan mengakibatkan tingkat anak putus sekolah semakin tinggi. Fenomina yang terjadi di desa tanjung pegantenan pamekasan banyak anak yang putus sekolah di sebabkan banyak faktor yang mempengaruhinya baik faktor internal maupun faktor eksternal. Faktor-faktor tersebut di duga menjadi penyebab besar terhadap pradigma orang tua terhadap pentingnya Pendidikan, sehingga banyak di antara mereka beranggapan bahwa Pendidikan hanya sebatas pencarian yang tidak ada tujuan akhirnya.
