ABSTRACT

As a center for the development of Islamic knowledge and the sharia economic ecosystem, Islamic boarding schools (Pondok Pesantren) have an important role in the development of contemporary sharia capital market literacy. The boarding school environment must be provided with sharia capital market literacy counseling in order to maximize the investment potential among boarding schools. The purpose of this research program is to provide Islamic investment knowledge among santri, so as to be able to produce santri investors in the future. A total of 1235 people have been successfully literated and 811 of them filled out a questionnaire which shows the results of most santri have understood the outline of sharian capital market and how to start investing. With various research limitations, the author concludes that santri still need to be given Islamic investment direction from competent investment managers.
