Abstrak

The Role of Parents in Instilling Islamic Religious Values ​​in Children in Wergonayan Village, Mirit District, Kebumen Regency. Background: parents have an obligation in the Islamic religion to provide education and guidance regarding instilling Islamic religious values ​​in their children. Therefore, the responsibility for child development falls on the shoulders of the parents. As the limitations of this research problem are parents of children aged 7-10 years who are classified as unemployed. The method used is a qualitative approach. The research design is descriptive. Data was obtained from observations, interviews and documentation. Data processing techniques use qualitative analysis which includes data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the research results obtained, it shows that parents have carried out their role in instilling Islamic religious values ​​well, parents have instilled religious values ​​such as aqidah values, worship values, and moral values ​​through exemplary methods or modeling good behavior in children, getting used to carrying out orders. God in everyday life, gives advice or advice as direction to children, parents always monitor their children's behavior and give punishment if the child makes a mistake
