Abstrak

This research discusses the formation of superior ethics through the application of the concept of moral education taught by Imam Ghazali in the context of Islamic education in the modern era. Imam Ghazali, an Islamic philosopher, theologian, and scholar, has made a major contribution to the understanding of ethical and moral values in Islam. In an effort to adapt his teachings to the demands of the times, this study explores how the moral values taught by Imam Ghazali can be integrated and applied in today's Islamic education system. The methodology of this research involves a literature review to detail the principles of moral education taught by Imam Ghazali. The results of the study show that the principles of Imam Ghazali's moral education remain relevant and can be applied effectively in the context of Islamic education in the modern era. The application of values such as sincerity, patience, honesty, and self-control can make a significant contribution to the formation of superior ethics in today's generation.
