The development of digital technology has brought about a major transformation in the world of education, including in learning systems, methods, and interaction patterns. The digitalization of education has not only changed the way material is delivered but also influenced the overall orientation and goals of education. In the context of Islamic education, this change demands a theoretical framework capable of maintaining fundamental Islamic values and ensuring their relevance amidst the currents of modernization. This article aims to examine the relevance of Islamic educational theory in responding to the dynamics of the digitalization of education. This research uses a qualitative approach with library research methods, drawing on the works of classical and contemporary Islamic educational figures as well as scientific articles discussing the issues of education and digitalization. The results of the study indicate that Islamic educational theory, which focuses on moral formation, strengthening etiquette, and holistic human development, remains relevant in the digital era. The digitalization of education can be a strategic opportunity for Islamic education if utilized professionally and systematically integrated with Islamic values in the learning process.
